Note: This deed is for 10 acres of land that the estate of Jonas Kreider is selling to Jonas' son John S. Kreider.

THIS INDENTURE Made the 2nd day of April A.D. 1888. BETWEEN BARBARA KREIDER, widow of Jonas Kreider, deceased Henry S. Kreider and Fanny, his wife of Cornwall Township Lebanon County, Penna Levi S. Kreider and Annie, his wife of Abilene, Dickenson County, Kansas; Christianna Krall and her husband Christian Krall of South Annville Township, Lebanon County, Penna; Catherine Yordy and her husband Christian Yordy of Cornwall Township, Lebanon County, Pa.; Barbara Behm and her husband Rudoph Behm of South Annville Township, Lebanon County, Penna; and Mary Bachman, (widow of Christian Bachman dec'd) of Cornwall Township Lebanon County Pa. widow heirs and legal representatives of Jonas Kreider late of Cornwall Township, Lebanon County Pa deceased of the first part: AND JOHN S KREIDER of Cornwall Township County and State aforesaid of the second part:

WHEREAS the said Jonas Kreider in his lifetime and at the time of his death was seized in his demesne as of fee of certain tracts of land one tract CONTAINING ten acres (10A) and twelve perches (12P) situated in Cornwall Township Lebanon Co. Pa and being so thereof seized as aforesaid died intestate leaving to survive him the aforesaid widow and seven heirs at law to wit: John S. Kreider, Henry S. Kreider, Christianna Krall intermarried with Christian Krall, Catherine Yordy intermarried with Christian Yordy, Barbara Behm and Mary Bachman aforesaid and Levi S. Kreider aforesaid.

NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH that the said Barbara Kreider, Henry S. Kreider and Fanny his wife. Levi S. Kreider and Annie his wife Christianna Krall and her husband Christian Krall, Catherine Yordy and her husband Christian Yordy, Barbara Behm and her husband Rudolph Behm and Mary Bachman for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) to each of us in hand paid by the said John S. Kreider at and before the ensealing and delivery thereof the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge do grant, bargain, sell, alien, release and confirm unto the said John S. Kreider his heirs and assigns.
ALL THAT CERTAIN tract of land situated in Cornwall Township aforesaid bounded and described as follows to wit: BEGINNING at a stone; thence along land now or late of Christopher Riechert south fourteen and three quarters degrees (14.75) east twenty six perches (26) to a black oak tree; thence by land now or late of Henry Kreider south eighty seven and one fourth (87.25) degrees east twenty-six perches (26P) to a black oak tree; thence by land now or late of Barbara Zimmerman north eighty three degrees (83) east thirty five and three tenth perches (35.3P) to a stone; thence by land now or late of John Kreider north one degree (1) east twenty six perches (26P) to a pole; thence by land now or late of John Kreider, Jr. south eighty eight degrees (88) west sixty-eight perches (68P) to the place of BEGINNING.

CONTAINING ten acres (10A) and twelve perches (12P) and allowance for roads &c. IT BEING the same premises which Jacob Kreider, Henry Kreider, Mary Orth, John Laudermilch, Jr. and Catherine his wife, heirs at law of Henry Kreider, deceased by their Deed dated January 1st A.D. 1836, did grant and confirm unto Jonas Kreider, his heirs and assigns forever.

TOGETHER WITH ALL and singular the ways, waters, water-courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and hereditaments, rents, issues and profits thereof: AND ALSO ALL the estate, right, title, interest, use, trusts, property, possession, claim demand whatsoever of them, the said parties of the first part hereto in law, equity or otherwise howsoever of in to or out of the same.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said tract of land, messuage, tenement, hereditaments and premises hereby granted and released or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances unto the said John S. Kreider, his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said John S. Kreider, his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and behoof of the said John S. Kreider, his heirs and assigns forever.

UNDER ANS SUBJECT NEVERTHELESS to the payment of the yearly interest on the sum of three hundred and eighty six dollars and twenty cents ($386.20) to be paid to the said Barbara Kreider, widow of the said Jonas Kreider, deed during her natural lifetime, and after her death the said principal sum of $386.20 to be paid to the heirs and legal representatives of the said Jonas Kreider deed, AND the said parties of the first part do covenant, promise and agree to and with the said John S. Kreider, his heirs and assigns by these presents that they the said parties of the first part have not done or committed any matter, act or thing whatsoever whereby the premises bereby granted or any part thereof is, are shall or may be impeached in title, estate or otherwise howsoever.

STATE OF KANSAS, DICKENSON COUNTY SS:
BE IT REMEMBERED that on this 29 day of March A.D. 1888 before me a notary public duly commissioned in and for the county and state aforesaid personally came Levi S. Kreider and Annie his wife and duly acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired the same to be recorded as such. The said Annie being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband and the contents of the said Indenture being made known to her declared that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord, sign, seal and as her act and deed, deliver the said Indenture without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband. Kreider and Fanny, his wife, Christiana Krall and her husband Christian Krall, Catherine Yordy and her husband Christian Yordy, Barbara Behm and her husband Rudolph Behm and Mary Bachman and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired the same to be recorded as such, the said Fanny, Christianna, Catherine, and Barbara being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from their husbands and the contents of the said Indenture being made known to them, declared that they did voluntarily and of their own free will and accord sign, seal and as their act and deed, deliver the said Indenture without any coercion or compulsion of their said husbands.
