THIS INDENTURE Made the 2nd day of April A.D. 1888. BETWEEN BARBARA KREIDER, widow of Jonas Kreider, deceased LEVI S. KREIDER and Annie his wife of Abilene Dickenson County Kansas, Christianna Krall and her husband Christian Krall of South Annville Township Lebanon Co. Penna. Catherine Yordy and her husband Christian Yordy of Cornwall Township, Lebanon Co. Pa. Henry S. Kreider and Fanny, his wife of Cornwall Township Lebanon County Penna Barbara Behm and her husband Rudolph Behm of South Annville Township Lebanon Co. Penna and Mary Bachman (widow of Christian Bachman decd) of Cornwall Township Lebanon County Penna widow heirs and legal representatives of Jonas Kreider late of Cornwall Township Lebanon County Pa. deceased of the first part: AND JOHN S. KREIDER of Cornwall Township County and State aforesaid of the second part:
WHEREAS the said Jonas Kreider in his lifetime and at the time of his death was seized in his demesne as of fee of certain tracts of land one tract CONTAINING ninety six acres (96 A) and one hundred and thirty nine perches (139 P) situated in North Cornwall Township Lebanon County Pa. and being so thereof seized as aforesaid died intestate leaving to survive him the aforesaid widow and seven heirs at law: to wit: John S. Kreider, Henry S. Kreider, Levi S. Kreider, Christianna Krall intermarried with Christian Krall, Catharine Yordy intermarried with Christian Yordy, Barbara Behm intermarried with Rudolph Behm and Mary Bachman aforesaid.

NOW THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH that the said Barbara Kreider, Henry S. Kreider and Fanny his wife Levi S. Kreider and Annie his wife Christianna Krall and her husband Christian Krall, Catharine Yordy and her husband Christian Yordy, Barbara Behm and her husband Rudolph Behm and Mary Bachman for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars ($1000.00) good and lawful money of the United States to each of us in hand paid by the said John S. Kreider at and before the ensealing and delivery thereof: the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do grant, bargain, sell, alien, release and confirm unto the said John S. Kreider, his heirs and assigns.

ALL THAT CERTAIN tract of land messuage and tenement situated in North Cornwall Township Lebanon County Pa. Bounded and described as follows to wit:
BEGINNING at a stone on line of land owned by Herman Light and Josiah Kreider; thence along land of Josiah Kreider N. 82 degrees W. forty one and three tenth perches (41.3 P) to a point; thence along said land S fifty and one half degrees (50.5) W. forty and five tenths perches (40.5 P) to a point at or near Snitz Creek; thence along said land S. fifty one degrees (51) W. seventy eight and four tenth perches (78.4 P) to a point; thence along land of Eliza Marshall N. twenty nine and one half degrees (29.5) W. eighty three and five tenths perches (83.5 P) to a point in a public road; thence along said road N. sixty degrees (60) east one hundred and ninety three perches and seven tenths (193.7 P) to a point; thence along said road N. fifty nine and three quarter degrees (59.75) E. thirty eight and two tenth perches (38.2 P) to a point; thence along a lane and land of Henry Laudermilch S. four degrees (4) E. thirty-five and one tenty perches (35.1 P) to a point; thence by the same lane and land of Hiram Light S. eighteen and one half degrees (18.5) W. eighty eight and six tenth perches (88.6 P) to a place of BEGINNING.

CONTAINING ninety six acres (96 A) and one hundred and thirty nine perches (139 P) strict measure. IT BEING the same premises which Jacob Kreider, Henry Kreider, Mary Orth, John Laudermilch, Jr. and Catherine his wife heirs at law of Henry Kreider, deceased of their Indenture dated January 1st A.D. 1836, did grant and confirm unto Jonas Kreider, his heirs and assigns forever; AND the same premises which Michael Kreider, executor of the last will and testament of Jacob Kreider, deceased by his Indenture dated November 7th A.D. 1853, did grant and confirm unto Jonas Kreider, his heirs and assigns forever and the same premises which Rebecca Treist by her Indenture dated April 17 A.D. 1879 did grant and confirm unto Jonas Kreider, his heirs and assigns forever

TOGETHER WITH ALL and singular the ways, waters, water-courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining; and the reversions and hereditaments, rents, issues and profits thereof: AND ALSO ALL the estate, right, title, interest, use, trusts, property, posession, claim and demand whatsoever of them the said Barbara Kreider, Henry S. Kreider and Fanny his wife, Levi S. Kreider and Annie his wife, Christianne Krall and her husband Christian Krall, Catherine Yordy and her husband Christian Yordy, Barbara Behm and her husband Rudolph Behm and Mary Bachman in law, equity or otherwise howsoever of, in to or out of the same.

TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said tract of land, messuage, tenement, hereditaments and premises hereby granted and released or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtencances unto the said John S. Kreider his heirs and assigns to and for the only proper use and befoof of the said John S. Kreider, his heirs and assigns forever.

UNDER AND SUBJECT HOWEVER to the payment of the yearly interest on the sum of three thousand seven hundred and thirteen dollars and thirty cents ($3713.30) being the charge of thirds or dower remaining upon the said premises said yearly interest to be paid to the said Barbara Kreider, widow of said Jonas Kreider, deceased during her natural lifetime and after her death the said principal sum of $3713.30 to be paid to the heirs and legal representatives of the said Jonas Kreider, decd.
AND THE SAID parties of the first part do covenant, promise and agree to and with the said John S. Kreider, his heirs and assigns by these presents that they the said parties of the first part have not done or committed any act matter or thing whatsoever whereby the premises hereby granted or any part thereof is are shall or may be impeached in title estate or otherwise howsoever.

BE IT REMEMBERED that on this 29th day of March A.D. 1888 before me a notary public duly commisioned in and for the County and State aforesaid personally came Levi S. Kreider and Annie, his wife and duly acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired the same to be recorded as such. The said Annie being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from her said husband and the full contents of said Indenture being made known to her declared that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord, sign, seal and as her act and deed deliver the said indenture without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.

BEFORE ME, an alderman in and for said state and county personally came Barbara Kreider, Henry S. Kreider and Fanny, his wife, Christiana Krall and her husband Christian Krall, Catharine Yordy, Christian Yordy, Barbara Behm and her husband Rudolph Behm and Mary Bachman and acknowledged the above Indenture to be their act and deed and desired the same to be recorded as such. The said Fanny, Christiana, Catharine and Barbara being of full age and by me examined separate and apart from their said husbands and the full contents of the said Indenture being made known to them declared that they did voluntarily and of their own free will and accord, sign, seal and as their act and deed deliver the same without any coercion or compulsion of their said husbands.
