This Indenture made the tenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine. Between Christian Kreider of Lebanon township in the County of Lebanon and state of Pennsylvania. Yeoman of the one part; and his son Michael Kreider of the same place yeoman of the other part: Witnesseth that the said Christian Kreider for and in consideration of the sum of eight thousand three hundred and thirteen dollars lawful money of the State of Pennsylvania to him in hand well and truly paid by the said Michael Kreider at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof; the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit and for ever discharge the said Michael Kreider his heirs executors and administrators by these presents hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Michael Kreider and to his heirs and assigns. All these two certain contiguous tracts pieces or parcels of land situate in Lebanon township Lebanon County aforesaid one of them being bounded and described as follows to wit:

Beginning at a stone in the middle of the Quittopehella Creek thence by land late of Adam Stoever deceased north thirty three degrees west fifty five perches to a stone, thence on the middle of the Berks and Dauphin Turnpike road, south seventy nine degrees west one hundred and three perches and four tenths to a stone, thence by land of Tobias Kreider and other land intended to be granted to the said Michael Kreider, south fifty three degrees west one hundred and sixty perches to a stake near a small hickory thence by land late of Abraham Long deceased south forty four and a half degrees east twenty two perches and seven tenths to a stone, thence by land of the same, south seventy four degrees east seventy six perches to a stone, thence by land of Frederick Sprecher north sixty two degrees east, sixty two perches to a stone, thence up the middle of Quittopehella Creek one hundred and ninety perches to the Beginning Containing one hundred and twenty nine acres and the allowance of six percent for roads. It being the same tract of land which Frederick Embich Esq. High Sheriff of the County of Lebanon aforesaid by deed-poll under his hand and seals bearing date the 12th day of January A.D. 1822 for the consideration therein mentioned did by virtue of a certain Writ of Fieri Facias therein recited grant and confirm unto Christian Kreider and his heirs and assigns; all that said messuage and tenement and tract of land containing one hundred and thirty six acres and one hundred and twenty five perches neat measure equal to one hundred and twenty nine acres and the allowances for roads. Late the estate of Adam Stoever [???] with the appurtenances. To hold the same to the said Christian Kreider his heirs and assigns, for ever, according to the act of General Assembly in such case made and provided as by the said recited Deed-poll duly acknowledged, and entered among the records of the courty of common pleas of the said county, relation being thereunto had appears (excepting and reserving thereout the water right as herein after mentioned) and the other tract.

Beginning at a post at the Turnpike road thence by Jacob Kreider's lands south forty three degrees, east eighty three perches eight tenths to a stone thence by Michael Kreider's other lands north fifty five degrees and an half, east twenty perches to a post, thence by Tobias Kreider's land north forty and an half degrees west seventy one perches and three tenths, to a stone thence by Daniel Kreider's lands south eighty and an half degrees west twenty six perches and five tenths, to the Beginning. Containing nine acres and eighty eight perches and the usual allowance of six percent.

It being part of the same tract of land which Michael Kreider by his Indenture bearing date the ninth day of November A.D. 1811: for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto the said Christian Kreider (party hereto) hereto his heirs and assigns reference may be had may more fully appear. The said Indenture being recorded at Harrisburg: may more fully appear. Together also with all and singular the houses, out-houses, barns, stables, gardens, orchards, meadows, fields, fences, mays, woods, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appertenances, whatsoever thereunto belonging, or in any wise appertaining: and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof; and also all the estate, right, title, interest, use trust property, possession, claim and demands whatsoever of him the said Christian Kreider in law or equity or otherwise howsoever, of, in, to, or out of the same; To have and to hold: the said two contiguous tracts pieces or parcels of land above mentioned and described, hereditaments and premises hereby granted, and released or mentioned, or intended, to to be, with the appertenances unto the said Michael Kreider his heirs and assigns: to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Michael Kreider his heirs and assigns for every subject and reserving thereout, that is to say, the whole of the stream of the water running through the hereby conveyed premises that the said Christian Kreider is heirs and assigns, for ever, shall have the right to dig and throw and clear out, repair and amend if necessary at the stream or creek (called Quittopehalla Creek) for the use of Christian Kreider his heirs and assigns for ever, he the said Christian Kreider his heirs and assigns shall have the right to enter on the land of the said Michael Kreider to amend and clear out the creek so as aforesaid, for the use of the said C. Kreider his heirs and assigns for ever: Subject also to a bond of performance bearing even date herewith, and the said Christian Kreider for himself his heirs executors and administrators doth covenant, promise, grant and agree, to and with the said Michael Kreider his heirs and assigns by these presents, that he the said Christian Kreider his heirs the said above mentioned and described two contiguous tracts pieces or parcels of land hereditaments and premises, hereby granted released or mentioned or intended so to be with the appertenances, unto the said Michael Kreider his heirs and assigns against him the said Christian Kreider and his heirs and against all and every person and persons, whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part or parcel thereof (except the water right which is reserved by the said C. Kreider and his heirs and assigns) shall and will warrant and for ever defend by these presents: In witness whereof the said parties to these presents, have hereunto interchangeably set his hand and seal, date and the day and year first above written.

Received the day of the date of the above written Indenture of and from the above named Michael Kreider the sum of eight thousand three hundred and thirteen dollars in gold and silver. It being the consideration money above mentioned in full.

Be it remembered that on the tenth day of April Anno Domini 1839 before me the subscriber Esquire one of the justices of the peace, of the said county, personally came the above named Christian Kreider, and acknowledged the above indenture to be his act and deed, and desired that the same might be accorded as such, according to law: In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written.
