This Indenture made the nineteenth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty two. Between Tobias Kreider of North Lebanon touwnship in the County of Lebanon and State of Pennsylvania yeoman of the first part and his son Michael K. Kreider of the same place of the second part witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of seventeen thousand dollars lawful money of the United State of America unto him well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents does grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns All that Certain messuage or tenement and two tracts of land situate in North Lebanon and North Annville township in the County of Lebanon and State aforesaid bounded and described as follows to wit: the one thereof (being wholly in North Lebanon township) beginning at a post on the middle of the Berks and Dauphin turnpike road a corner of land of John Light ss thence along the middle of the said turnpike by land of Michael Kreider ([?]) and said Tobias Kreider's other part of the same land South seventy eight degrees and a quarter west one hundred and eleven perches and seven tenths to a post thence by land of Daniel Kreider north fifteen degrees and a quarter west one hundred and seven perches and six tenths to a stone thence by the same north thirty eight degrees and three quarters west eighty eight perches to a stone thence by lands of Jacob Keller and Joseph J. Kreider north sixty nine degrees East one hundred and eighty four perches to a white oak thence by lands of John Bamberger and Joseph Snavely South five degrees and three quarters East one hundred and twenty eight perches and four tenths to a stone thence by said John Light's land South five degrees and a quarter East eighty eight perches and three tenths to the place of beginning. Containing one hundred and seventy three acres more or less (including the land taken by the Lebanon Valley Rail Road) Being part of one hundred and eighty eight acres and one hundred and one perches of land and allowance which Michael Kreider father of said Tobias Kreider by his Indenture bearing date the fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen did grant and confirm unto the said Tobias Kreider party hereto his heirs and assigns forever as in and by the Indenture relation being thereunto had more fullyappears the other thereof being part in North Lebanon and part in North Annville township. Beginning at a stone a corner of Daniel Kreider's land thence by the same South fifty seven degrees and a half west thirty four perches to a Black oak thence by Hill Church land South seventy one degrees and a half west six perches and three tenths to a stone thence by the same land being along the east side of a church road twenty four feet wide which is forever to remain open north six degrees east forty four perches to a stone thence by land late of George Keller deceased south fifty two degrees and a half east thirty eight perches to the place of beginning. Containing four acres and ninety perches neat measure. Being the same premises which Henry Heilmand Trustee of the Calvinists worshipping at Hill Church in pursuance of an act of assembly passed the 27th day of March AD 1837 did sell and by his indenture bearing date the second day of October AD 1837 did grant and confirm unto Tobias Kreider party hereto his heirs and assigns forever as in and by the said last [?] Indenture relation being thereunto had more fully appears, one acre and three quarters of the first described premises being the same premises which William Snavely and wife by their Indenture bearing date the fourth day of April AD 1835 for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto Tobias Kreider party hereto his heirs and assigns forever as in and by the said Indenture relation being thereunto had more fully appears together with all and singular the buildings improvements ways waters water courses rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversions and remainders rents and profits thereof and all the estate right title interest property claim and demand whatsoever of them the said parties of the first part in law equity or otherwise howsoever of in and to the same and every part and parcel thereof to have and to hold the said messuage and two tracts of land the one thereof containing 173 acres and 68 perches more of less and the other thereof four acres and ninety perches neat measure hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns so and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever excepting the right granted and released to the Lebanon Valley Rail Road Company and the said Tobias Kreider for himself his heirs executors and administrators does by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns he the said partys of the first part and his heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended as to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assings against him the said party of the first part and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof by from or under him them or any of them shall and will except as above excepted warrant and forever defend in witness whereof she said party of the first part has hereunto set his hand and seal dated the and year first above written
