This Indenture made the eleventh day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight-hundred and sixty-three between Tobias Kreider of North Lebanon Township in the county of Lebanon and state of Pennsylvania of the first part and Ephraim Light of the township of North Lebanon and county and state aforesaid of the second part, Witnesseth. That the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of four thousand two hundred and thirty eight dollars lawful money of the United State of America unto him well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released, and confirmed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release, and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns. All that certain tract or parcel of land situate in Cornwall township, Lebanon County aforesaid. Bounded and described as follows to wit.

Beginning at a post a corner of land of Josiah Kreider: thence north twelve degrees west sixty three perches and four tenths to a post on the south side of Berks and Dauphin turnpike thence along said turnpike by land of Daniel Kreider north seventy eight degrees and a quarter east fifty three perches and eight tenths to a post: thence by land of said Daniel Kreider north fifteen degrees and a quarter west one perch and a half to the middle of said Berks and Dauphin turnpike: thence along the middle of said turnpike by land of Michael Kreider north seventy eight degrees and a quarter east seventy nine perches and a half to a post: thence by land of Michael Kreider (CS) south fifty two degrees and a quarter west one hundred and forty seven perches and eight tenths to the place of beginning. Containing twenty six acres and seventy eight perches strict measure: Being a part of the same premises which Michael Kreider, by his Indenture bearing date the fifth day of May A D 1811(?) for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto Tobias Kreider party hereto, and to his heirs and assigns forever: as in and by the said Indenture, reference thereunto being had more fully appears.

Together with all and singular the improvements ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever therein to belonging, or in any [???] appertaining: and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of him the said parties of the first part, in law, equity or otherwise howsoever, of, in, and to the same and every part and parcel thereof. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns. To and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the secod part his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Tobias Kreider for himself his heirs, executors and administrators does by these presents covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, that he the said party of the first part and his heirs all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns against him the said parties of the first part and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend. In witness whereof the said parties of the first part has hereunto set his hand and seal dated the day and year first above written.

Received the day of the date of the above Indenture of the above named. The sum of four thousand two hundred and thirty eight dollars lawful money of the United States it being the consideration money above mentioned, in full.
