Note: This is a deed dated April 29, 1899 in which Henry K. Kreider sells 17 acres and 15 perches to Mary A. Bowman for a sum of $1,068.40.

This indenture made the twenty ninth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine (1899) Between Henry K. Kreider of South Londonderry township in the county of Lebanon and state of Pennsylvania party of the first part and Mary A. Bowman wife of John G. Bowman of the same place party of the second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of ten hundred and sixty-eight and 40/100 dollars lawful money of the United States of America well and truly paid by the said party of the second part to the said party of the first part at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has granted bargained sold above[?] enfeoffed released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents does grant bargain sell alien enfeoff release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns all that certain tract or piece of land situate in South Londonderry township in the county of Lebanon and state of Pennsylvania bounded and described as follows to wit: Beginning at a point in the middle of a public road leading from Campbellstown to Bachmansville thence along the lands of which the said Henry K. Kreider this day conveyed to John W. Eby south seventy one degrees (71) East twenty two and one tenths perches to a stake thence along the same north twenty seven degrees (27) West seven and twenty five one hundredths perches to a stake in the middle of a private alley thence along the middle of said private alley and land of H. H. Fegan south seventy one degrees (71) East nineteen and nine tenths perches to a post thence along the lands of E. Dissinger and lands late of Joseph G. Bowman deceased south twenty seven and one fourth degrees West sixty four and five tenths to a stone in the middle of a private road thence along the middle of said private road and lands of the estate of Joseph Gingrich deceased North eighty five degrees (85) West thirty two and nine tenths perches to a stone in the middle of said private road thence along the middle of said private road and the lands of Jacob M. Brandt North eight and three fourth degrees West eleven and twenty five one hundredths perches to a stone in the middle of the public road leading from Campbellstown to Bachmansville thence along the middle of said public road and lands of Jacob M. Brandt North twenty seven degrees (27) East sixty six and seventy five one hundredths perches to a point in the middle of said public road the place of beginning containing seventeen acres (17) and fifteen perches (15) It being part of the same premises of which Joseph Gingrich died seized and [???] of, heiring the same unto his daughter Elizabeth wife of Henry Bowman during her lifetime and after her death to her children in equal shares as tenants in [???] on said will having been duly probated in the office of the Register of Wills before the fourteenth day of August a d 1866 and the said Elizabeth having since died proceedings in partition were had upon the above described premises and John G. Bowman was duly appointed trustee to make sale of the above described premises which together with other lands devised as aforesaid by his indenture bearing date the 29th day of April a d 1899 and to be recorded forthwith in the office for the recording of deeds in and for the county of Lebanon did grant and confirm to Henry K. Kreider party hereto his heirs and assigns forever together with all and singular the buildings improvements woods rights liberties privileges hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any use appertaining and [???] ... issues and profits thereof and of every part and parcel thereof and also all the estate [???] [???] interest property possession claim and demand whatsoever both in law and equity of the said party of the first part of in and to the said premises with the appurtencances to have and to hold the said premises with all and singular the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and [???] of the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever and the said Henry K. Kreider himself his heirs executors and administrators do by these presents covenant grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever that he the said Henry K. Kreider he and his heirs all and singular the hereditaments and presents herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the [???] [???] unto the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns against him the said Henry K. Kreider he and his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will warrant and forever defend in witness whereof the said party of the first part to these presents hath hereunto set his hand and seal dated the day and year first above written
