Note: Peter Hogoboom sells half a share of land to Abraham Hollenbeck.
To all people to whom these presents shall come Peter Hogoboom lying in the northwest township on the east side Housatonick River in the Colony of Connecticut for the consideration of the sum of sixty nine pounds money received to my full satisfaction of and from Abraham Hollenbeck of the same town. Do give, grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeof, convey and confirm unto the said Abraham and to his heirs and assigns forever one half right, share, part or alotment in the township aforesaid the same being divided into fifty three equal shares or alotments exclusive of the lands granted to the [?] and all former grants of the General Assembly that are surveyed and recorded in the public records of the Colony and are lying in said town with the priviledges and appurtenances there unto belonging.
To have and to hold the said granted and bargained premises to the said Abraham and to his heirs and assigns forever and the said Peter Hogoboom doth for himself his heirs and executors covenant to and with the said Abraham and to his heirs and assigns in manner following (that is to say) that at the time of the ensealing of these presents he is the sole owner of the above premises and hath in himself good right to dispose of the same in manner as above said and with forever hereafter warrant the same and defend the same to the said Abraham his heirs and assigns against all claims whatsoever.
In witness whereof the said Peter Hogoboom hath hereunto set his hand and seal the 23rd day of March AD, 1739.
