Note: Abraham Hollenbeck sells 117 rods of land to Solomon Deming.
To all people to whom these presents know ye that I Abraham Halenbeeck of Canaan Litchfield County Connecticut in New England for the consideration of the sum of eighteen pounds old tenor in hand already received to my full satisfaction of Solomon Deming of Canaan aforesaid do give, grant, bargain, sell and confirm unto him the said Solomon Deming his heirs and assigns forever a certain parcel of land lying situate in the township of Canaan aforsaid bounded as follows.
Beginning at a stake standing in the north line of said Deming's land thence west twenty rods to a stake and stone in the east line of the Six Rod Road thence northerly bounded west on said highway fifteen rods to a stake and stones thence to the first bounds mentioned. Containing one hundred and seventeen rods of land.
To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises with the appurtenances thereof unto him the said Solomon Deming his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use and behoof forever. And also I the said Abraham Hollombick do for myself my heirs convenant with the said Solomon Deming his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing hereof I am well seized of the premises as a good indefeasible estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain and sell promise and agree to and with every of them by these presents that the same in manner and for me as is above written and the same free of all incumbrances whatsoever and furthermore the said Abraham Hollombick do by these presents bind myself and heirs forever to warrent and defend the above granted and bargained premises unto him the said Solomon Deming his heirs and assigns against all claims and demands whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day of January Anno Domini 1753
