Esquires true and absolute Proprietaries and Governors in Chief of the Province of Pennsylvania and Counties of New Castle, Kent, and Sussex upon Delaware To all unto whom these Presents shall come Greeting Whereas in pursuance of a warrant under the Seal of our Land Office bearing date the twenty sixth day of April one thousand seven hundred and forty eight there was surveyed unto Ulrich Supplinger of the county of Lancaster a certain tracts of land as follows. Beginning at a marked [???] oak thence by land of John Kryter north seventy six perches to a small marked white oak and north twenty six degrees west one hundred and twenty perches to a post thence by land of Nicholas Hoover south sixty five degrees west one hundred fifty one perches to a post thence by land of Christian [???] south sixteen degrees east sixty nine perches to a marked Spanish oak and south eighty nine degrees west sixty two perches and a quarter of a perch to a marked white oak thence by land of Philip Beyer south fifty five perches and a half of a perch to a post south seventy five degrees east thirty three perches to a marked Chestnut Oak north eighty four degrees east twenty perches to a Black Walnut tree south south east tweny one perches to a post and south seventy five degrees east one hundred twenty three perches to a marked black oak thence by land of Mathias Strear north thirty degrees east sixty perches to a marked white oak north seventy degrees east twenty six perches to the place of beginning. Containing two hundred and six acres and the usual allowance of six acres [???] for roads and highways and whereas the said Ulrich Suppinger by a certain instrument of writing dated the twentieth day of October one thousand seven hundred and sixty (for the consideration therein mentioned) did bargain sell set over and deliver the said described tract of land containing two hundred and six acres as aforesaid unto Adam Ulrich of the said county of Lancaster in [???] and whereas in pursuance of a warrant under the said Seal of the Land Office bearing date the twelfth day of June one thousand seven hundred and fifty one there was surveyed unto John Kreyter a certain tract of land situate in the said township of Lebanon bounded and described as follows Beginning at a marked white oak on Swahatara Creek thence by land of Nicholas Hoover south sixty five degrees west forty six perches to a post thence by land of Ulrich Suppinger south twenty six degrees east one hundred and twenty perches to a small marked white oak south seventy six perches to a marked spanish oak thence by land of Mathias Strear east eight perches to a marked white oak thence by land of Mathias Strear and vacant land north seventy five degrees east two hundred and nineteen perches to a marked white oak thence by vacant land north thirty two perches and a half of a perch to a marked white oak thence by land of Peter Smith north sixty eight degrees west twenty eight perches to a marked white oak and north fifteen degrees east thirty perches to a marked ash tree on the aforesaid Swahatara Creek thence down the said creek on the several courses thereof five hundred forty four perches and the usual allowance of six acres [???] for roads and highways and whereas the said John Kreyter by his deed of [???] bearing date the fourth day of July last did for the consideration therein mentioned bargain sell and make over the said last described tract of one hundred and fifty five acres of land and premises with the appurtenances unto the said Adam Ulrich in [???] as in and by the said several warrants surveys instrument of writing and deed poll (reference thereunto being had) more fully appears Now at the instance request of the said Adam Ulrich that we would be released to grant him a confirmation of the same know ye that for and in consideration of the sum of fifty five pounds nineteen shillings one penny lawful money of Pennsylvania to our use paid by the said Adam Ulrich the receipt whereof we hereby acknowledge and thereof do acquit and forever discharge the said Adam Ulrich his heirs and assigns by these presents and of the yearly quitrent herein after mentioned and reserved We have given granted released and confirmed and by these presents for us our heirs and successors do give grant release and confirm unto the said Adam Ulrich his heirs and assigns the said two described tracts of two hundred and six acres and one hundred and fifty five acres of land as the same are now set forth bounded and [???] as aforesaid with all Mines, Minerals, Quarries, Meadows, Marshes, Savannahs, Swamps, Cripples, Woods, Underwoods, Timber and Trees, Ways, Waters, Water Courses, Liberties, Profits, Commodities, Advantages, Hereditaments and Appurtances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise Appurtaining and Lying within the Bounds and Limits aforesaid. [???] full and clear fifth Parts of all Royal Mines free from all Deductions and reprisals Digging and refining the same and also one fifth Part of the Ore of all other Mines Delivered at the Pitsmouth only excepted and hereby reserved And also free leave Right and Liberty to and for the said Adam Ulrich his heirs and assigns to hawk Hunt Fish and Fowl in and upon the hereby granted Land and Premises or upon any Part thereof To have and to hold the said two described tracts of two hundred and six acres and one hundred and fifty five acres of land and premises hereby granted except as before [???] with their appurtenances unto the said Adam Ulrich to the only use of behoof of Adam Ulrich his heirs and assigns for ever to beholden of us our heirs and successors proprietaries of Pennsylvania as of our Manor of Conestoga in the County of Lancaster aforesaid in free and common soccage by fealty only in Lieu of all other Services Yielding and paying therefore yearly to us our Heirs and Successors at the Town of Lancaster in the said County at or upon the first Day of March in very year from the first Day of March last past one half penny Sterling for every Acre of the same Or Value thereof in Coin Current according as the Exchange shall then be between our said Province and the City of London to such Person or Persons as shall from time to time be appointed to Receive the same And in case on Nonpayment thereof within Ninety Days next after the same shall become due that then it shall and may be lawful for us our heirs and successors our and their receiver or receivers into and upon the hereby granted land and premises to Reenter the same to hold and possess until the said Quit Rent and all [???] thereof together with the Charges acruing by means of such Non payment and Reentry be fully paid and Discharged Witness James Hamilton Esquire Lieutenant Governor of the said Province Who by virtue of certain Powers and Authorities to him for this purpose inter alia granted by the said Proprietaries hath hereunto set his Hand and Caused the Great Seal of the said Province to be hereto Affixed At Philadelphia this sixteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty two the second year of the reign of King George the Third over Great Britain And the forty fourth year of the said Proprietaries Government,
