Note: 585 acres of land were surveyed for Jacob Kreider's widow Mary in 1742 and 1748 . This deed divides the land into four parts. One part each for Christian, Martin, Tobias, and George Kreider, sons of Jacob and Mary Kreider.
This Indenture quadripartite made the twenty sixth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty Between Christian Cryter of the Township of Lebanon in the County of Lancaster and Province of Pennsylvania yeoman and Mary his wife of the first part, Martin Cryter of the said Township County and Province yeoman and Ann his wife of the second part, Tobias Cryter of the place yeoman and Mary his wife of the third part and George Cryter of the Township aforesaid yeoman and Mary his wife of the fourth part Whereas the Honorable the Proprietarys of the said Province by their patent baring date the sixth Day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty for the consideration therein mentioned did give grant release and confirm unto the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter, and George Cryter their heirs and assigns a certain tract of land situate in Lebanon Township aforesaid bounded and described as follows Viz: Beginning at a marked black oak thence by land of George Elinger north fifteen degrees west thirty two perches to a post and north east one hundred and twenty perches to a post in a line of Hans Zimmerman's land thence by the same north twenty five degrees west one hundred and fifty one perches to a marked black oak sapling in a line of Joseph Seefley's land thence by the same south seventy two degrees west sixty four perches and a half of a perch to a post south eighty two degrees west thirty one perches to a post north twenty degrees west one hundred and fourteen perches to a marked white oak and north sixty degrees west thirty nine perches to a marked black oak thence by land of George Hites south sixty five degrees west one hundred and two perches to a post thence by land of John Kryter south eighteen degrees west one hundred and thirty six perches to a post and south ten degrees west fifty perches to a post and south eleven degrees east eighty seven perches to a post a corner of Adam Baugh's land, thence by the same south thirty five degrees east one hundred and forty five perches to a post thence by land of Henry Little north seventy degrees east two hundred and eight perches to the place of Beginning Containing five hundred eighty five acres of land and the usual allowance of six acres percent for road and highways with the appurtenances to hold to and to the use and behoof of the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter their heirs and assigns forever as in and by the said recited patent recorded at Philadelphia in Patent Book AA vol:1 page 1 on the fourteenth day of May 1760 referrence being thereto [??] appear
Now This Indenture Witnesseth that the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryder and George Cryder have made partition and by these presents do make full perfect and absolute partition of the said tract of land with the appurtenances to and amongst them the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter in four parts in manner and form following (that is to say) that he the said Christian Cryter his heirs and assigns shall have hold and enjoy to the only proper use and behoof of the said Christian Cryter his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land (part of the tract above described) contained in and bounded by the following lines to wit: Beginning at a black oak thence by land of George Ellinger north fifteen degrees west thirty two perches to a post and north east one hundred and twenty perches to a post in a line of land now or late of Hans Zimmerman thence by the same land north twenty five degrees west ninety one perches to a black oak sapling. Thence south thirty five degrees east ten perches to a post and thence by land of Henry Little north seventy degrees east two hundred and eight perches to the place of Beginning Containing one hundred and seventy two acres and the usual allowance of six acres percent for roads and highways with the appurtenances for the full part share and proportion of him the said Christian Cryter of and in all and singular the tract of land first above mentioned granted to them he the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter as aforesaid with the appurtenances and that the said Martin Cryter his heirs and assigns shall have hold and enjoy to the only proper use and behoof of the said Martin Cryter his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land (part of the tract above described) contained in and bounded by the following lines to wit: Beginning at a black oak sapling in a line of land now or late of Hans Zimmerman thence by the same land north twenty five(?) degrees west sixty perches to a marked black oak sapling in a line of Joseph Seefley's land thence by the same south seventy two degrees west sixty four perches and an half to a post and south eighty two degrees west twenty perches to a stone thence by land herein granted to Tobias Cryter and George Cryter south forty two degrees west two hundred and eighty five perches to a stone thence by land of Adam Baugh south thirty five degrees east ninety nine perches to a black oak sapling. Thence by land herein granted to Christian Cryter north thirty two degrees east one hundred eighty six perches and and half to a stone and north fifty four degrees east one hundred and seventy five perches to the place of Beginning Containing one hundred and sixty acres and an half acre and the usual allowance of six acres percent for roads and highways with the appurtenances for the full part share and proportion of him the said Martin Cryter of and in all and singular the tract of land first above mentioned granted to them the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter as aforesaid with the appurtenances and that the said Tobias Cryter his heirs and assigns shall have hold and enjoy to the only proper use and behoof of the said Tobias Cryter his heirs and Baugh thence by land herein granted to George Cryter north twenty two degrees east three hundred forty eight perches to a post thence by land of George Stites(?) north sixty degrees west twenty eight perches to a black oak thence south sixty five degrees west one hundred and two perches to a post thence by land of John Cryter south eighteen degrees west one hundred thirty and six perches to a post and south ten degrees west fifty perches to a post and south eleven degrees east eighty seven perches to a post in a line of land of Adam Baugh thence by the said land south thirty five degrees east thirty five perches to the place of Beginning Containing one hundred forty nine acres and one quarter of an acre and the usual allowance of six acres percent for roads and highways with the appurtenances for the full part share and proportion of him the said Tobias Cryter of and in all and singular the said tract of land first above mentioned granted to them the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter as aforesaid with the appurtenances and that the said George Cryter his heirs and assigns shall have hold and enjoy to the only proper use and behoof of the said George Cryter his heirs and assigns forever all that certain piece or parcel of land (residue of the tract first above described) contained in and bounded by the following lines (to wit) Beginning at a stone in a line of Adam Baugh's land thence by the same south thirty five degrees east two perches to a stone thence by land herein granted to Martin Cryter north forty two degrees east two hundred eighty five perches to a stone thence south eighty two degrees west eleven perches to a post thence by land of John Light north twenty degrees west one hundred fourteen perches to a white oak and north sixty degrees west twelve perches to a post and thence by land herein granted to Tobias Cryter south twenty two degrees west three hundred forty and eight perches to the place of Beginning Containing one hundred and four acres and one quarter of an acre and the usual allowance of six acres percent for roads and highways with the appurtenances for the full part share and proportion of him the said George Cryter of and in all and singular the said tract of land first above mentioned granted to them the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter as aforesaid with the appurtenances and the said Martin Cryter and Ann his wife, Tobias Cryter and Mary his wife, and George Cryter and Mary his wife for themselves and heirs do by these presents grant assign release and confirm unto the said Christian Cryter and his heirs all that the said tract or piece or parcel of land containing one hundred and seventy two acres and the usual allowance for road above mentioned according to the metes and bounds above set forth and expressed together with all and singular the buildings improvements hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the estate right title and interest whatsoever which they the said Martin Cryter and Ann his wife, Tobias Cryter and Mary his wife and George Cryter and Mary his wife and their heirs or any or either of them have or hath or may or ought to have of in and to the said described piece or parcel of land of one hundred seventy two acres and allowance [?] premises or any part thereof to have and to hold the said described piece of parcel of land and premises with the appurtenances to the said Christian Cryter his heirs and assigns to the only use and behoof of the said Christian Cryter his heirs and assigns in [??] for ever subject to the payment of the proportional(?) part of the yearly quitrent due and to become due for the same premises to the Chief Lord or Lords of the fee thereof and the said Christian Cryter and Mary his wife, Tobias Cryter and Mary his wife and George Cryter and Mary his wife [????] do by these presents grant assign release and confirm unto the said Martin Cryter and his heirs all that the said piece or parcel of land containing one hundred and sixty acres and an half and the usual allowance for roads above mentioned and described according to the [???] above set forth and expressed together with all and singular the buildings improvements hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the estate right title and interest whatsoever which they the said Christian Cryter and Mary his wife, Tobias Cryter and Mary his wife and George Cryter said Martin Cryter his heirs and assigns in severalty for ever subject to the payment of a proportionable part of the yearly quitrent due and to become due for the premises to the Chief Lord or Lords grant assign release and confirm unto the said Tobias Cryter and his heirs all that the said piece or parcel of land containing one hundred forty nine acres and one quarter of an acre and allowance as usual for roads above mentioned according to the metes and bounds above set forth and expressed together with all and singular the buildings improvements hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the estate right title and interest whatsoever which they the said Christian Cryter and Mary his wife, Martin Cryter and Ann his wife and George Cryter and Mary his wife and their heirs or any or either of them have or hath or may or ought to have of in and to the same or any part thereof to have and to hold the said described piece or parcel of land containing one hundred forty nine acres and one quarter of an acre and allowance as aforesaid hereditaments and premises with the appurtenances to the said Tobias Cryter his heirs and assigns to the only use and behoof of the said Tobias Cryter his heirs and assigns in severalty forever subject to the payment of a proportionable part of the yearly quitrent due and to become due for the premises to the Chief Lord or Lords of the fee thereof and the said Christian Cryter and Mary his wife, Martin Cryter and Ann his wife and Tobias Cryter and Mary his wife for themselves their heirs do by these by these presents grant assign release and confirm unto the said George Cryter and his heirs all that the said piece or parcel of land containing one hundred four acres and one quarter of an acre and the usual allowance for roads above mentioned according to the according to the metes and bounds above set forth and expressed together with all and singular the buildings improvements hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the estate right title and interest whatsoever which they the said Christian Cryter and Mary his wife, Martin Cryter and Ann his wife and Tobias Cryter and Mary his wife and their heirs or any or either of them have or hath or may or ought to have of in and to the same or any part thereof to have and to hold the said described piece or parcel of land containing one hundred four acres and one quarter of an acre and allowance as aforesaid hereditaments premises with the appurtenances to the said George Cryter his heirs and assigns to the only use and behoof of the said George Cryter his heirs and assigns in severalty forever subject to the payment of a proportionalable part of the yearly quitrent due and to become due for the premises to the Chief Lord or Lords of the Fee thereof and the said Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter for themselves severally and not jointly nor one of them for the other and for their and every of their several and respective heirs executors and administrators do covenant and grant to and with the said Christian Cryder his heirs and assigns by these presents that he the said Christian Cryter his heirs and assigns shall and may from henceforth forever hereafter peaceably and quietly have hold occupy possess and enjoy the said piece or parcel of land and premises with the appurtenances herein before alloted and granted as and for the part of the said Christian Cryter without any let hindrance interruption or denials of them the said Martin Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter or either of them their or either of their heirs or assigns or of any other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under them or any or either of them and the said Christian Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter for themselves severally and not jointly nor one of them for the other and for their and every of their several and respective heirs executors administrators do covenant and grant to and with the said Martin Cryter his heirs and assigns by these presents that he the said Martin Cryter his heirs and assigns shall and may from henceforth forever hereafter peaceably and quietly have hold occupy possess and enjoy the said piece or parcel of land and premises with the appurtenances have hold occupy herein before alloted and granted (or [?????????]) to and as and for the part of the said Martin Cryter without any let hindrance interruption or denials of them the said Christian Cryter, Tobias Cryter and George Cryter or either of them their or any or either of their heirs or assigns or of any other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under them or any or either of them and the said intended so to be to and as and for the part of the said Tobias Cryter without any let hindrance interruption or denial of them the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter and George Cryter or any or either of them their or any of either of their heirs or assigns or of any other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under them or any or either of them And the said Christian Cryter, Martin Cryter and Tobias Cryter for themselves severally and not jointly nor one of them for the other and for their and every of their several and respective heirs executors and administrators do covenant and grant to and with the said George Cryter his heirs and assigns by these presents that he the said George Cryter his heirs and assigns shall and may from henceforth
