Funeral services were held this afternoon for Harry C. Kreider, retired shoe manufacturer, late of 301 East Main Street, Palmyra. After brief rites at 1:45 o'clock at the Rothermel Funeral Home, where the body was viewed by friends and citizens of the community on Monday evening, the funeral cortege moved to the Church of the Brethren of which, the deceased was a member for many years, and also taught the Bible Class in the Sunday School. The pastor, the Rev. Frank S. Carper, officiated. There was an abundance of floral tokens and tributes attesting of the high esteem in which the decedent was held. Burial was made at the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Nathan Bashore, Paul Breidenstine, Harry Bowman, Eugene Lutz, Harvey Heilman and Amos Curry were the bearers.
Funeral Director N. J. Rothermel was in charge of arrangements.
