Harry B. Longenecker, 79, a native Lebanon Countian and guest at the Neffsville Brethren Home for the last eight years, died Wednesday afternoon in the Lancaster Osteopathic Hospital after a six-month illness.
He was a son of the late Harry G. and Sally Gingrich Longenecker. He was a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University School of Agriculture and a retired feed sales representative. Longenecker was a member of the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren. His wife, the former Minnie Kreider Longenecker, died in 1968.
Surviving is one son, Harry K. of Rheems, and three daughters: Mrs. Helen K. Seltzer, Annville; Ruth, wife of Marvin K. Light, Annville RD 1, and Ann F., wife of Paul M. Brubaker, Elizabethtown. A sister, Mrs. Anna Hart of Annville RD 1; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.
