Death of a Dunkard Preacher

Rev. Samuel Books, of the River Brethren, (Dunkard), residing at Sporting Hill, near Annville, on the Berks and Dauphin turnpike, died yesterday morning, after a brief illness. The deceased was well known among his denomination, as well as our people, having for years occupied a stall on our market in front of Means' drug store. He was a man respected by all, and through life his actions were of such a nature as to cause him to be loved by all with whom he had intercourse.
