AnnvileFactory
Aaron S. Kreider's shoe factory stood at the southwest corner of Sheridan and Railroad Streets until demolished for a parking lot about 1970. Although the firm stopped production by 1960, it had 700 employees in 1930. The small building on the right also was a Kreider building when this post card view was taken by D. B. Shiffer, Annville, circa 1911. From 1936-1991, the small building served as the office for John H. Boger and Son, Inc., fuel dealer. The small structure still can be seen, and Boger's present office is in the larger structure nearby on Sheridan Avenue. - From Lebanon County: A Post Card History (1992)
