In the name of God Amen. I Martin Kreider of Lebanon Township in the county of Lebanon and state of Pennsylvania Preacher(?) being of sound and well disposing mind memory and understanding thanks be unto God for the same do hereby make and ordain this to be my last will and testament in manner following to wit first I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my body to the earth to be [???] interred in humble hopes of a glorious resurrection and an happy [???] into the regions of bliss and immortality through the [???] of my redeemer Christ Jesus and as touch(?) my worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I give and bequeath the same as hereafter mentioned.

I give and bequeath unto my son Tobias Kreider the sum of one hundred dollars over and above his equal share with my other children to be paid and of the [several words I can't read]. And whereas I have given [??? and ???] in my small paper book unto my children herein after named the sums of money hereinafter respectively mentioned to wit.

Unto my son John Kreider the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds. Unto my daughter Barbara now the wife of Christian Kreider the sum of two hundred and twenty five pounds. Unto my son Christian Kreider the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds. Unto my son Henry Kreider the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds. Unto my daughter Elizabeth deceased the late wife of George Kreider the sum of two hundred pounds. Unto my daughter Catharine now the wife of Flore the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds. Unto my daughter Anna now the wife of Michael Hoke the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds. Unto my daughter Mary who was married to John Miller (the said John Miller having absconded) the sum of two hundred and fifty nine pounds five shillings. Unto my daughter Christina now the wife of William Early the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds and unto my son Tobias Kreider the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds which said several sums of money so as aforesaid paid advanced and charged unto my said children shall be deducted from the share of such as have received the same and of my estate and the shares of all the children made equal and [???] up and of the first monies arising from my estate and all the resid[??] [???] remainder of my estate whatsoever and wheresoever the same may be after shares are made equal and my children aforesaid received equal sums as aforesaid shall be equally divided between all my children herein before named my [???] son Tobias to have one hundred dollars more than his equal share out of the last gold(?) payable by my son Abraham Kreider as aforesaid my sons Abraham Kreider and Martin Kreider having been [???] in the [???] I give them [???] in other articles to the amount of their full shares they shall have no further shares or claim in my estate. And it is my will that the share or part which would have come to my daughter Elizabeth the late wife of George Kreider (after deducting the advancement aforesaid) shall be paid to her children in equal shares. And the share of my daughter Mary Miller in my estate (after deducting the advancement aforesaid) shall be paid to herself for her own separate use and her husband the said John Miller shall have no part of the same or no claim control or interest in it whatever. And whatever sums of money I shall hereafter pay advancements I may in future make and charge unto my children or to any of them shall be deducted from the share of such as receive the same out of my estate.

And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my friend Tobias Kreider son of Tobias Kreider [???] and my son Abraham Kreider executors of this last will and testament and I do hereby revoke all forms and other wills and testaments by me heretofore made and radify and confirm this and no other to be my last will and testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the fifth day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one. [several lines that I can't make sense of]

Codice to the above last will and testament.

It is my will and I do hereby order and direct that my daughter Maria Miller shall have and receive over and above her share in the above last will and testament mentioned the following articles and things hereafter mentioned to wit a bed [???] and all the articles belonging to it, the stove with the pipe in my room and the stove with the pipe in the weaver shop or house, the kitchen [???] and a kettle to have her choice kneeding or dough [???], a washtub and all the grain meal and meal which shall be on hand at the time of my death which said articles she shall have as a compensation for her services and trouble of attending me. And it is my will that the legacy or share coming to my son Tobias Kreider out of my estate as is mentioned in the last will and testament shall be paid to and [???] by my executors who shall and may pay the same from time to time to him or for his use and benefit in such manner and for such [???] as they may judge proper and most expediant(?) and declare this [???] and part of my last will and testament and shall be so [???] In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eighth day of September in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six.
