Note: Michael Kreider is selling 140 acres of land to Benjamin Fishburn. The same premises Michael obtained from his father Christian in 1839.
THIS INDENTURE made the twenty-seventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight-hundred and sixty six. Between Michael Kreider C. S. of the Borough of Lebanon in the county of Lebanon and state of Pennsylvania, and Louisa his wife of the first part, and Benjamin Fishburn of Londonderry township, in the county and state aforesaid of the second part. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of twenty one thousand and forty seven dollars and seventy cents lawful money of the United States of America, unto them well and truly paid by the said party of the second part at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Have granted, bargained, sold, aleined, enfeoffed, released, and confirmed, and by these presents do grant bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain messuage or tenement plantation and tract of land situate in Cornwall Township in the county of Lebanon and state aforesaid bounded and described as follows, to wit.
Beginning at a stone in the middle of the Berks and Dauphin Turnpike, Road on a line of land of Michael K. Kreider a corner of land of Ephraim Light, thence by said Ephraim Light's land south fifty three degrees west, one hundred and sixty perches to a stake near a small hickory; thence by lands of Jacob B. Kreider and Abraham Long south forty four degrees and a half east, twenty two perches and seven tenths to a stone, thence by said Abraham Long's land south seventy four degrees east ninety three perches to a stone; thence by the same south ten degrees and a quarter west eight perches to a post in the middle of the Quitopehilla Creek; thence up the middle of said creek by land of Frederick Sprecher north fifty two degrees and three quarter east nineteen perches and seven tenths to a post; thence up the same, by said land, north thirty eight degrees east thirty six and a half perches to a stone, thence up said creek, the various courses thereof, one hundred and ninety perches to a stone in the middle of said creek thence by lands of Christian H. Shank and John Light SS North thirty three degrees west fifty five perches to a stone in the middle of said Berks and Dauphin Turnpike road; thence along the same by said lands of John Light SS and Michael K. Kreider, south seventy nine degrees west one hundred and three perches and four tenths to the place of Beginning. Containing one hundred and forty acres and fifty one perches strict measure.
The larger part thereof (136 acres 125 perches) being a part of the same premises which Christian Kreider by his indenture bearing date the tenth day of April A.D. 1839 for the consideration therein mentioned. Recorded in the office for recording deeds at Lebanon, in Deed Book G page 448 he did grant and confirm unto Michael Kreider CS party hereto his heirs and assigns forever.The smaller (3 acres, 86 perches) being the same premises which Frederick Sprecher and Susanna his wife by their indenture bearing date the first day of April A.D. 1850 for the consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto Michael Kreider C.S. party hereto, his heirs and assigns forever, as in and by the said recited indenture relation being thereunto had more fully appears. Together with all and singular the buildings improvements, ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues and profits thereof; and all the estate, right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of them the said parties of the first part, in law equity, or otherwise, howsoever of, in and to the same and every part and parcel thereof, to have and to hold, the said messuage or tenement, plantation and tract of land hereditaments and premises hereby granted or mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns. To and for the only proper use and behoof of the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever, under and subject to the conditions and reservations mentioned in the above recited deed from Christian Kreider to Michael Kreider C.S. and the said parties of the first part for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents covenant, grant and agree to and with the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, that they the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted, or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part his heirs and assigns, again [???] them the said parties of the first part, and their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof except as above excepted Shall and will warrant and forever defend. In witness whereof the said parties of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals, dated the day and year above written

Lebanon County SS The twenty seventh day of January Anno Domini, one thousand eight hundred and sixty six, before me the subscriber a notary public of said state in and for said county personally appeared the above named Michael Kreider C.S. and Louisa his wife and in due form of law acknowledged the above indenture to be their act and deed and desired the same might be recorded as such, and the said Louisa being of full age and separate and apart from her said husband by me thereon privately examined and the full contents of the above deed being by me first made known unto her, did theretofor declare and say that she did voluntarily and of her own free will and accord sign, seal and as her act and deed deliver the above indenture without any coercion or compulsion of her said husband.
