This indenture made the first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twenty nine (1929) Between Christian F. Kreider and Anna C. Kreider, his wife of North Lebanon Township, Lebanon County and state of Pennsylvania, of the first part, and Titus M. Books and Elmer M. Books, of the same place of the second part; WITNESSETH, that the said parties of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of ten thousand three hundred forty dollars and eighty cents ($10,340.80) lawful money of the United States of America, well and truly paid by the said parties of the second part to the said parties of the first part, at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, aliened, enfeoffed, release, convey and confirm unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns, all that certain messuage, tenement, farm and tract of land situate in North Lebanon Township, Lebanon County and state of Pennsylvania, bounded and described as follows, To Wit;
Beginning at an iron post in the northern right of way line of the Reading Railway, in line of land of Mrs. Lizzie Kettering; thence by said land of Mrs. Lizzie Kettering and by land of Hill Lutheran Church north eleven and three fourths degrees west one hundred twenty seven and eighty one hundredths perches to a stake; thence by land of Mrs. Mary Hostetter south fifty five and one half degrees east one and sixty three hundredths perches to a stone; thence by the same north fifteen and one half degrees east twenty one and seven tenths perches to a stone at the south side of a public road leading to Lebanon; thence in and along said public road south eighty one and one half degrees east thirty and four tenths perches to a stone at the north side of a public road; thence by land of George Heilman south eleven and one half degrees east nine and one tenth perches to a stone; thence by land of John H. Long south thirty nine and one half degrees east eighty eight perches to a post; thence by the same south fifteen and one fourth degrees east forty eight and eighty four hundredths perches to an iron post in the north side of said right of way line; thence along the north side of said right of way line south seventy eight and one fourth degrees west eighty three and eighty eight hundredths perches to the place of beginning, containing fifty seven acres and seventy one and eighty three hundredths perches, together also with the water right or privilege as contained and provided for in deed or grant from Michael Kreider to Christian Kreider, bearing date December 21, 1811 and recorded in the Recorder's Office of Lebanon County, PA in Deed Book G. page 430 and assigned by the said Christian Kreider to Daniel Kreider, by assignment bearing date April 3, 1839 and recorded in said office in said Deed Book G. page 431, being part of the same premises which the said Christian Kreider by his indenture dated April 3, 1839 and recorded in the Recorder's Office of Lebanon County PA, in Deed Book G. page 432, granted and confirmed unto the said Daniel Kreider, and part of the same premises which the said Daniel Kreider by his last will and testament recorded in the office of the Register of Wills in and for said county in Will Book E. page 283, gave and devised unto the said Christian F. Kreider, party of the first part hereto, his heirs and assigns forever.
Together with all and singular the buildings, improvements, woods, ways, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments and appurtenances, to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining, and the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof, and of every part and parcel thereof; and also, all the estate, right, title, interest, property possession, claim and demand whatsoever, both in law and equity and equity of the said parties of the first part, of, in and to the said premises, with the appurtenances, to have and to hold the said premises, with all and singular the appurtenances, unto the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns to the only proper uses, benefit and behoof of the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns forever, subject however to the right of way of the electric light company (Metropolitan Edison Company) over said described land, and also subject to the right of way of American Telephone and Telegraph Company over said land, and the said parties of the first part for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators, do by these presents, covenant, grant and agree, to and with the said parties of the second part, their heirs and assigns forever, that they the said parties of the first part, their heirs, all and singular the hereditaments and premises herein above described and granted or mentioned and intended so to be, with the appurtenances, unto the said parties of the second part their heirs and assigns, against them the said parties of the first part, their heirs, and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, shall and will warrant and forever defend, in witness whereof, the said parties of the first part to these presents have hereunto set their hands and seals dated the day and year first above written.
