T. K. KREIDER PASSED AWAY THIS MORNING

Tobias K. Kreider, residing on the Bismarck Road a short distance south of Lebanon, and widely known in Lebanon because of an extensive milk business which he conducted up to about five years ago, died this morning at 7:30 o'clock, at his home. He was taken suddenly ill on Saturday last and physicians called diagnosed his case as resulting from an inflammation of the bowels. Although every possible means of relief was attempted, it was unavailing. He was aged 77 years.

Retired Farmer

Mr. Kreider was born and raised on what is now known as the Long farm, at Cleona, the son of Tobias Kreider, Sr. About forty years ago he moved to the Bismarck Road and resided there ever since. He conducted an extensive dairy, and sold milk in the city on a route which he served himself for a long term of years. He retired about five years ago. He was engaged in farming during his entire career. He was not only widely known but was highly respected as a good citizen, a generous neighbor and friend.

Four Children

Mrs. Kreider, died about five years ago, and a son, Harry, also preceded him in death. He leaves four children: Adam Kreider, of Harrisburg; Calvin Kreider, of 1208 Lehman street, and Mrs. Oliver C. Eisenhauer and Elmer, at home. There are also eight grand children. Mrs. Abraham Moyer, of Palmyra, is a sister.

U. B. Member

Mr. Kreider was a faithful member of the Salem United Brethren church for many years, and at the time of his death was a trustee of the congregation, a position which he held a long term of years.
