Mrs. Lydia B. Kreider Died Suddenly at Her Palmyra Home

Mrs. Lydia B. Kreider, nee Heilman, widow of the late Ezra Kreider, passed away Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Herr of East Main street, Palmyra, at which place she made her home for the past six years.

She was aged 73 years, 5 months and 12 days. The deceased had been in ill health for some timeand as she was preparing to retire for the night was stricken with a paralytic stroke and died almost immediately.

She was a highly esteemed and respected citizen of Palmyra, and a member of the Hill Lutheran church. The deceased was born and reared in that region and her many associates and friends are grieved to hear of her sudden death.

She was preceeded in death twelve years ago by her husband, Ezra Kreider. She leaves to survive four daughters: Mrs. Herr, Mrs. John Shirk, Mrs. W. E. Kreider, Mrs. Joseph Kettering; two sons, Titus Kreider, of Brooklyn, New York, and Ezra Kreider, of Cleona; two brothers, Ezra, of Palmyra and Daniel of Wernersville. Sixteen grandchildren also survive.
