William Hoke Kreider, a popular and prominent member of the Cleona community, died at 8:30 o'clock Saturday night in the Good Samaritan hospital of complications. He was 71 years old and had been in failing health for the past year. Mr. Krelder for a number of years, had been employed as a driller in a stone quarry at Leiningers in Palmyra.
He was a member of Hill Lutheran church and the Home Department of the church. Surviving is his wife, Maggie N. Heilman Kreider; two children survive, they are Harvey Kreider, of Lebanon and Mrs. Mary Alexander, of Carlisle. Three grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Gottlelb, of Bunker Hill ; Tobias, of Rocherty: Mrs. Grant Light, of Iona, and Edna Kreider, of Palmyra.
