Hiked the Game Lands trail up to the spot I hunted turkeys two weeks before. My plan was to go straight up the mountain and straight down the other side to Stony Creek. Going up the mountain wasn't too bad. However, going down was pretty difficult. There were lots of big boulders on a steep incline. That was followed by extremely thick vegetation. About half way down the north side I unexpectedly came to the Horse-Shoe Trail. I followed the trail east until it crossed Stony Creek (Bridge). I then followed the south side of the creek and then eventually made my way back up to the Horse-Shoe Trail. Rather than climb back up the mountain, I decided to take the trail back to my car. Taking the trail made for a very long walk. I'm still looking for the best route to Stony Creek.

The entire walk covered 9.18 miles.
